Occupational Therapist (OT) Location: Emporia, KS Dates: August 14, 2024 - May 21, 2025 Hours: 20 hours per week

Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team for the 2024-2025 academic year. This position is a 20-hour per week opportunity, providing occupational therapy services to students in the Emporia, KS area.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students' occupational therapy needs, ranging from Pre-K to 21 years of age.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' functional abilities and promote independence.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to student care.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services, including individual and group sessions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and district policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Kansas.
• Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of various occupational therapy techniques and interventions.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Caseload and Details:

• Anticipated caseload of 20 to 25 students maximum.
• Students range in age from Pre-K to 21 years old.
